StorageCraft is looking for an International Director of Marketing who will be responsible for the strategic direction of all aspects of Marketing in EMEA and APAC. The Director of Marketing is responsible for the strategy, tactics and programs to create interest, demand and recognition for StorageCraft and its products, including OneBlox, SPX, ShadowXafe, OneXafe and StratoXafe in the Mid-size enterprise segment through the use of PR, Product Marketing, Advertising, Strategic Relationships, Marketing Events, Channel Marketing and Online Marketing programs. The Director of Marketing, International will be responsible for defining the  local marketing strategy for international markets and ensure that it is aligned with the overall corporate strategy and work closely with corporate marketing. The Director will work closely with teams at StorageCraft headquarters to coordinate Product Marketing, Channel Marketing, Marketing Communications, PR and Social Media and Marketing events to support international markets. The Director of Marketing will also work closely with In-Country Master Distributors and the StorageCraft EMEA and APAC Sales teams to execute DG programs, present at Webinars and provide leads and marketing collateral in order to acquire new MSP/SMB and mid-size enterprise customers and expand our presence in the existing customer base. This position is also responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, training, and managing all marketing functions to achieve the company objective of sales, growth, profits, and visibility while ensuring that marketing brand and messaging and positioning are consistent with the corporate direction.

Duties:

Strategy

  • Define an international marketing strategy that is consistent with corporate strategy and the local sales goals and coordinated with corporate marketing
  • Play a key role in the development of strategic partnerships for referencing, credibility and alliances.
  • Help manage third-party relationships.
  • Create an annual strategic and tactical marketing plan for EMEA and APAC.
  • Work closely key distributor to create a detailed annual marketing plan for their territory.

Management & Training

  • Manage and train existing and new marketing staff.
  • Ensure timely and effective execution of all marketing programs.
  • Create and maintain an annual marketing budget.
  • Lead and manage the following international departments: PR & Social Media, Advertising, Channel Marketing, Product Marketing, Event Marketing and Creative & Localization Services.
  • Generate a monthly summary report and comprehensive quarterly and annual marketing report.

Product Marketing and Research

  • Work with the Director of Product Marketing to localize all sales enablement tools and develop tools specific for the local markets
  • Coordinate product promotions and campaigns with Product Marketing and Product Management teams.
  • Present at webinars, seminars, customers and partners on the entire suite of products, positioning, and competitive analysis. Be able to present the corporate story and vision fluently
  • Leverage existing competitive analysis and apply them to local market and customer meeting
  • Measure effectiveness of marketing strategies and tactics and implement improvements.
  • Develop good technical expertise in StorageCraft products and be considered a local expert in product positioning and competitive analysis
  • Periodically assess local product requirements and pass that feedback to the corporate PM team

 

AR, PR, Marcom

  • Work with the Director of Marketing Communications and outside Advertising agencies to coordinate PR and AR activities and Marcom in EMEA and APAC.
  • Work with the PR and Social Media Manager to ensure the proper amount and type of coverage to raise awareness, win reviews and ensure consistent corporate and product branding and image.

 

Event Marketing

  • Ensure we have substantial qualified leads to support the sales team. These can be gathered through direct mail campaigns, trade shows, web programs, and qualified list acquisition.
  • Work with the Event Manager to ensure proper representation at industry events.

 

Channel Marketing

  • Work with the Channel Marketing Manager to create and maintain sales materials to support StorageCraft resellers and MSPs.
  • Help initiate customer service and online lead generation programs to support resellers and MSPs.
  • Coordinate with the Product Marketing team to promote training and support services programs to StorageCraft resellers and MSPs.

 

Online Marketing

  • Work closely with the StorageCraft web team to help initiate and execute a strategic online marketing plan.
  • Provide marketing collateral and content to ensure maximum exposure for brand awareness and lead generation via the web.

Creative Services

  • Work with outside Creative and Localization Services companies to ensure consistent look and feel and positioning and messaging among all marketing collateral and content.

 

Qualifications: 

  • 12+ years in Marketing, Channel Marketing, and Product Marketing.
  • 5+ years in Product marketing or Channel Marketing in enterprise and SMB markets
  • Storage or Enterprise infrastructure marketing experience required
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Superlative presentation and oral communication skills.
  • High-level ability to multitask many marketing projects.
  • Good analytical and planning skills.
  • Solid business acumen and understanding of the sales cycle.
  • Solid technical skills: ability to explain complex processes in simplified manner.
  • Team-based collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to effectively supervise a marketing team.
  • Self-motivated with proven excellence and aptitude to follow through on marketing projects.

 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field. MBA preferred
