We are looking for a Lead Generation/Business Development Specialist to join our Inside Sales team. This is a junior role where you will have the opportunity to be mentored by a seasoned Account Executive team as you ramp up and learn the business.  If you're motivated by a challenge and are looking to gain valuable experience in a growth company, this could be the right role for you. In this position, you'll cultivate your sales, marketing, and leadership skills. This position involves a great deal of email/phone contact and the ability to coordinate many tasks simultaneously. Candidates must be flexible and enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interact and qualify inbound/outbound leads via phone, chat and email.
  • Learn StorageCraft technology and core value proposition.
  • Set-up meetings for our field team and create opportunities for the business.
  • Proactive calling of 50+ outbound calls a day. Secure appointments for sales team.
  • Communicate regularly with sales team about leads and targets
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns to drive new leads

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-2 years of prospecting experience - ideally in a new business acquisition role (SDR, BDR)
  • We may consider training new candidates if they show dedication to learn
  • 1-2 years of quota carrying sales experience is a plus
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to connect and establish rapport easily with a wide variety of potential clients, including senior executives
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Must be highly motivated, tenacious, and self-starter
  • BA/BS required
