StorageCraft is looking for a Sales Support and Order Desk Associate to join our global Sales Order Desk team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Respond to data and information requests by accessing systems and databases developed by business systems team.
  • Receives requests by telephone or mail for price quotations/verifications, purchase orders, and changes or cancellations directly from customers.
  • Same day data entry of customer purchase orders into the system.
  • Provide same day order confirmations and clarify order discrepancies
  • Responds immediately to customer inquiries/information needs and provides positive, courteous service to customers; answers questions regarding business systems, product prices, delivery times, warranty periods, customer service and credit/financing arrangements.
  • Prepares order configurations and price quotations and routes to customer.
  • Assists in handling the needs of Sales Representatives; works with Production, Business Systems, 3rd parties to expedite or insure timely delivery of shipments, licenses, RMA's, and reports.
  • Support order status requests, answering customer questions and resolving order issues with customers.
  • Ensures that the customer is treated with respect and gratitude and is clearly communicated with at each step of the process (especially when things don't go as planned).
  • Obtain 100% accuracy entering customer Purchase Orders. Ensure all pertinent fields are entered accurately, in a timely manner, and adhering to any unique customer requirements
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement of the Order entry process
  • We want the sales staff to know you by name. We want them to find you friendly and reliable and pleasant to deal with.
  • Works to support the sales team
  • Respond to requests related to product pricing and custom quote generation.
  • Conduct data research on purchases, activations and maintenance history as requested.
  • Assist Customer Service and Sales staff in the advanced operations of back office business systems.
  • Assist Customers with the customer facing sales and support systems.
  • Additional duties as required.
  • Respond to outages of our customer facing portals and webstore
  • Monthly MSP (Managed Service Provider) invoicing 

 Professional Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of SQL, basic math skills.
  • Be able to work without direct supervision
  • Team-based collaboration skills, self-motivated and excellent follow-through.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as MS Dynamics or Salesforce.com
  • Tools/Applications: MS SQL Management Studio, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook
  • Strong Communication Skills

 Desirable Skills:

  • Tools/Applications: SQL Server, Salesforce, MS Navision
